Artifex London supplies specialist stone products to architects, designers and other specifiers of building and decorative materials.

Typically, these are specified for architectural applications, such as the glass-laminated marble facade of Nicholas Grimshaw's arts building, The Fundacion Caixa Galicia in Northern Spain or for a whole range of interior applications, especially bar and restaurant features such as The Diamond Club Bar at The Emirates Stadium for the Arsenal Football Club.

The company's portfolio includes Glass Inlaid Marble (GIM) which was developed by Ben Galloway for Artifex and is unique to the company and also, a range of translucent, veneer cut stone products - Glass Laminated Marble (GLM).

New to the company is a GLM material that uses Spanish alabster as opposed to Italian onyx, (further details of this development will be posted on this website in due course).

The company also promotes a number of other stone products including a range of lightweight technical products which are used in the construction industry.

The company is always on the look out for new and exciting decorative materials that it can promote and offer to architects and interior designers. Tutti Frutti, a glass-laminated mineral terrazzo, which was adopted by designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and used as a central & popular ingredient in his scheme for the Inc Bar and Grill in Greenwich, is typical of this approach.

Artifex works closely with its partners in the stone industry to ensure that all orders are manufactured and finished to the highest possible standards. All products are expertly packed and properly insured against accidental damage whilst in transit.
