Inc Bar & Grill

In Italy in 2002, Artifex London located a beautiful product which had not been seen in the UK before. Tutti Frutti is a mineral terrazzo glass-laminate. The sandwich of toughened glass panels contain randomly arranged slices of translucent agate and onyx. These mineral fragments in their natural state display very subtle autumnal colours. However they can also be stained with coloured dyes. Any colour range can be specified to create a scheme which will be completely unique.

Tutti Frutti at the Inc Bar & Grill, Greenwich
In October 2003, Artifex London were invited by celebrity designer, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to submit ideas and materials for consideration for the bar areas at Inc. Tutti Frutti was chosen by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen Design Associates for the Pit Bar.

Laurence utilised its potential by back-lighting the barfront, bartop and barback panels as well as arranging a number of wall-mounted units as purely decorative art panels. Included in these are two large panels of Tutti Frutti which stand outside, either side of the main entrance to the Inc Bar and Grill which is located on College Approach.

In addition to Tutti Frutti Artifex London supplied carefully book-matched panels of white Carrara Arabescato marble for the bar and back bar areas of Inc's cocktail bar known as 'Larry's Bar'. The panels of Italian marble use GLM technology. They are veneer-cut so that they become translucent and are then bonded to glass on both sides so they may be back-lit.
