Fiber (F). Lightweight stone specialists have developed technology that allows
thin sheets or panels of natural stone, marble or granite to be reinforced
on the underside with a lamination of glass fibre and epoxy resin. Like the
Honeycomb product, Fiber is a lightweight high performance material designed
to meet the specific technical requirements of architects, designers and contractors
worldwide. Fiber can be produced using any natural limestone, marble or granite
and can be utilised by any application requiring a lightweight, stone finish.
Honeycomb (HC). A development of this technology allows thin sheets or panels
of natural stone, marble or granite to be reinforced on the underside by an
aluminium honeycomb sandwich coated on the reverse side with an epoxy resin
skin. This material is available in extremely large formats. The custom-sized
panels can be cut either at the factory, or where necessary, on site. Most
sizes are possible depending on the maximum dimensions of available slabs.
HC can be produced using any natural limestone or granite.
